Dit is de klassieke en meest natuurlijke honingsoort. De bijen gebruiken nectar van verschillende soorten bloemen die ze in hun omgeving tegenkomen. Daardoor verschilt iedere bloemenhoning van kleur, smaak en eigenschappen. Het ligt er maar net aan van welke bloemen of bloesems de bijen nectar gebruikt hebben. Ook het seizoen speelt een rol, omdat er in de lente andere bloemen te vinden zijn dan in de zomer.
Iedere bloemhoning is dus uniek!
